Cars of the Russian brand Tenet may enter the market in the spring

Tenet cars of the domestic brand may appear at dealers in St. Petersburg in April-May of this year. This was reported on March 31 by the analytical agency Autostat with reference to the Telegram channel AutoRun SPb.

According to him, dealers are now signing a new contract with a new legal entity. Cars of the new brand are already being produced at the plant in the Kaluga region, this year it is planned to produce about 110 thousand copies.

The AGR press service announced preparations for mass production of Tenet brand cars at the former Volkswagen plant in Kaluga on February 20. In parallel with the large-scale assembly, work will be carried out to prepare for the transition to full-cycle production, including welding and painting operations. The launch of the small-scale assembly is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.

On February 14, tarologist Tatiana Milovidova said that the name of the new Russian automobile brand Tenet is part of an ancient square of the words Sator, which contains several words-palindromes (equally readable in both directions). It is generally believed that the square of such palindrome words has its own mystical power. Tenet stands for "holds, manages, supports".
