The lap record was broken on the track from the Top Gear show

The Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar turned out to be the fastest on the Top Gear test track, which is located at the airfield in the British town of Dunsfold. The 1,155-horsepower car broke the lap record among production models approved for use on public roads, Motor1 reported on March 31.

Stig raced a 2.82-kilometer lap behind the wheel of a Valkyrie in 1 minute and 9.6 seconds. The Koenigsegg Jesko Attack hypercar, which has held the title of the fastest production car on this track since last year, was 1.3 seconds slower.

The Valkyrie was also 1.7 seconds ahead of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale with all-wheel drive, and was 1.1 seconds faster than the race-track-only Ferrari FXX.

Among the cars that do not have access to the roads, the Aston Martin DBR9, Pagani Zonda R, McLaren 720S GT3X, Lotus T125 and Renault R24 car from Formula 1 turned out to be faster than Valkyrie on the Top Gear highway.
