Stoloto has announced an annual grant competition for NGOs

Stoloto, the largest distributor of Russian state lotteries, has announced the launch of the eighth grant competition for charitable projects for non-profit organizations (NPOs) and charitable foundations.
According to Stoloto, institutions, foundations, public organizations and associations registered in the territory of the Russian Federation can become participants. Applications will be accepted until May 11. The winners, among whom the amount of 2 million rubles will be distributed, will be determined by the Stoloto Charity Council. The results of the competition will be announced in June.
As noted by the Director of Sponsorship and Corporate Social Responsibility of S8 Capital Holding (which includes Stoloto) Oksana Tubman, since 2021, 27 charitable projects across Russia have received financial support from the company. This allowed Stoloto to "contribute to improving the quality of life of children left without parental care, people with disabilities, and the elderly in difficult situations, as well as to help develop inclusive sports in the country," she said.
The grant competition is held twice a year, in the second and fourth quarters. During the previous stage of the competition, Stoloto received more than 150 applications, from which four winners were selected. Each of them received 500 thousand rubles for the implementation of their charity projects.
Since 2014, all lotteries in Russia have been state—owned, organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, and they are conducted under the state supervision of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. State lotteries distributed by Stoloto are a significant source of replenishment of the federal budget of the Russian Federation in order to finance socially significant facilities and activities, including activities for the development of physical culture and sports, high-performance sports and the sports reserve training system, thus making a proportionate contribution to improving the quality of life of Russians.
