Sweden will provide Ukraine with the 19th package of military assistance in the amount of 16 billion crowns ($ 1.6 billion). This was announced on March 31 by the head of the country's Defense Ministry, Paul Johnson.

"The support package that we are presenting today is the largest to date of those that we have donated to Ukraine," he said at a press conference that was broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Office of the Government of Sweden.

As indicated on the website of the Swedish Ministry of Defense, 9.2 billion kronor ($920 million) of these funds will be used to purchase weapons from manufacturers in Sweden, Scandinavia and Europe. In particular, it is noted that the Kiev regime needs ammunition, air defense systems, satellite communication systems, infantry equipment and armored vehicles.

Earlier, on March 26, French President Emmanuel Macron said that Paris would allocate an additional €2 billion in military aid to Kiev. The French leader added that his country had prepared a plan for the Kiev regime to supply anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles, as well as armored vehicles, tanks, drones and many other weapons.
