The top manager of Believe and TuneCore headed the new music distributor OVOKACHO

Ivan Ivanov, a top manager of the Believe and TuneCore music company division, will head the new Ovokacho music distributor. This was announced by the company on March 31.

"Ivan is a great specialist and, in my opinion, one of the most correct candidates for the position under consideration. In addition to his professional skills, he also shares our values, which is extremely important for us — so we look in the same direction in every sense," Ovokacho clarified.

It is noted that Ivanov has extensive experience in the music industry. Prior to joining the Ovokacho team, he held the position of Regional Head for the CIS, Eastern Europe and Turkey at TuneCore, a division of the French company Believe specializing in independent music distribution. Previously, Ivanov was involved in business diversification at Yoola, one of the largest YouTube partner networks, which had more than 1.5 billion subscribers and over 10 billion monthly views.

"The company has strong strategic foundations that will allow labels to gain new opportunities for distribution and effective monetization of their content. We will work to make Ovokacho a leading player in this field, while maintaining a boutique approach to working with partners," said Ivanov.

Ovokacho music distributor was established in January 2025 by the owner of the Lotus Music label Bakhtiyar Aliyev and the former head of Atlantic Records Russia. In March 2025, the company introduced the first version of an online tool that helps labels effectively manage releases, catalog them, upload tracks to music platforms, and work with metadata.

Earlier, on March 21, it was reported that the Russian government would allocate 750 million rubles to the Traditions of Art Foundation for the preparation and holding of the Intervidenie International Music Competition in 2025.
