The most vulnerable group that falls under the list of potential victims of fraudsters is the elderly. Consultant psychologist Anna Negi reported this on Monday, March 31.

According to the expert, the fact is that the psyche of the elderly is mobile, and scammers take advantage of this.

"They rely on such important moments for people as retirement, savings, and on important ones — relatives and friends — everything that is terrible to lose. When a threat appears, full trust and the desire to rectify the situation are activated. In addition to the above, there is also a social archetype of that generation — more trusting and open," the psychologist explained in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

Negi attributed wealthy and reputable people to the second category. She noted that the scheme for their "divorce" is more complicated, but the result is similar.

"In such cases, pseudo-consultants from the financial sector appear, and people who, again, have something to lose are susceptible to influence. Against this background, commercialism also plays, the desire to make money easily," the specialist said.

The psychologist also expressed confidence that people with a heightened sense of politeness and fear of appearing rude are more susceptible to deception than others. It is difficult for them to object when an attacker convinces them that they do not need to refuse a "profitable offer", or shows aggression, intimidates.

Single people are another category of potential victims of scams. Any opportunity to communicate pleases them, and scammers use it.

In addition, the psychologist attributed people with unstable mental states to potential victims of intruders, as it is easier to push them to rash actions and easier to influence their emotions.

Victims of fraudsters are often people who are prone to greed. Their desire for easy prey prevails over rationality.

In turn, Mikhail Salkin, a lawyer at the Moscow City Bar Association, said on March 31 in an interview with Life.Ru As is usual in cases involving the sale of housing under the influence of fraudsters, judicial practice was not in favor of the victims. Such contracts were recognized as valid, especially if they were notarized, and the person remained without an apartment and without money.

He added that in the last year, even before the case of singer Larisa Dolina, the courts began to recognize such transactions as invalid and restore the original right of the apartment owner. But at the same time, there is an obligation to return the money to the buyer.

Earlier, on March 28, the Khamovnichesky district court of Moscow ruled in favor of Dolina on the counterclaims of the singer and the buyer of her apartment, Polina Lurie, writes Pravda.Ru .

The court recognized the right to use the living space in favor of Larisa Dolina, her daughter and granddaughter.
