Chery has introduced an updated line of bicycles

Chery, which started selling bicycles in Russia last year, has unveiled an updated range of urban models. Two versions are available for purchase, according to the distributor's message, which was received by Izvestia on March 31.

Chery bicycles are equipped with a bell, a bottle holder, a set of wings and light reflectors. For the convenience of adjusting the seat height, markings were placed on the seatpost.

The design is based on an aircraft–grade aluminum frame weighing only 14.8-15.4 kg. The hidden wiring of the cables protects the mechanisms from moisture and dirt. A 21-speed Shimano system is responsible for gear shifting, and a shock-absorbing front fork is installed.

Two models went on sale: with 26-inch wheels and a 17-inch frame (for users 155-170 cm tall), as well as with 27.5-inch wheels with a 19-inch frame (170-195 cm tall). They are available in two colors — white and black.

On March 27, experts said that it is best to buy motorcycles in Russia in early spring and autumn, but on the eve of the motorcycle season, when demand and competition for good copies are higher. The peak of interest in used motorcycles occurs in late spring and early summer. For example, in 2023, their popularity peaked in May.

Prior to that, on March 20, it was reported that 2.16 million motorcycles were registered in Russia as of the beginning of 2025. Over half (55.5%) of all motorcycles in Russia are of domestic origin. Japanese motorcycles are the second most common in the fleet, accounting for 13.1%.
