There have been more than 50 solar flares in the last four days.

Scientists have reported a sharp increase in solar activity, with more than 50 flares occurring on the star's surface over the past four days. This was announced on March 31 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Institute of Space Research (IKI). RAS and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics.
"There is no direct forecast for magnetic storms yet, as the solar wind is in a calm state, and flare activity is still occurring at a considerable distance from the Sun-Earth line," the organization's website says.
They noted that the strongest series of flares is now being recorded south of the solar equator. The laboratory added that over the past four days, one high-level X flash and 11 medium-level M flashes have been recorded.
On March 28, Sergey Bogachev, head of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the IKI RAS, announced that a powerful X1.1 high-class flare had occurred at the eastern edge of the Sun. He noted that this was the first flare of this level in the last month.
