Aston Martin has launched a 1,000-horsepower Valhalla hypercar.

Aston Martin has reported on the final tests of the new Valhalla hypercar on the roads in the UK and the test site near Barcelona. A total of 999 such vehicles will be produced, production will start in the second quarter of this year. The press service of the British manufacturer announced this on March 31, publishing pictures of the model from the tests.
During the tests, Aston Martin was engaged in fine-tuning the active aerodynamics, steering, braking system and suspension. The car was piloted by Le Mans race winner and factory pilot Darren Turner.
The Aston Martin Valhalla is the brand's first production model with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and the first to run on pure electricity. The hypercar has a four-liter V8 engine with two turbines located in the middle and an eight-speed "robot" with two clutches, which has an electric motor built into its body. Two more electric motors are located on the front axle and ensure the operation of the all-wheel drive system.
The maximum power output of the Aston Martin Valhalla is 1,079 hp (1,100 Nm). The maximum speed is limited at 350 km/ h, acceleration to the first "hundred" takes 2.5 seconds. In the pure electric driving mode, the maximum speed is 130 km/h.
On March 29, it was reported that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation expanded the list of cars from which an increased transport tax is charged in Russia due to their cost. The updated list includes 555 models worth over 10 million rubles, of which 252 models cost over 15 million rubles.
Prior to that, on March 28, it became known that the Ford Mustang is showing the greatest popularity among Russians among convertible cars in 2025, followed by Mercedes-Benz SLK and SL, as well as BMW 3-series and 4-series.
