- In London, they announced an agreement between Starmer and Trump to put pressure on Russia

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and US President Donald Trump have agreed to continue putting pressure on Russia. This was reported on the British government's website on March 30.
So, in the process of discussing the Ukrainian issue, "the Prime Minister informed the president about productive discussions at the meeting of the coalition of willing in Paris."
"The Prime Minister spoke with President Trump tonight. <...> The leaders agreed on the need to continue collective pressure on [Russian President Vladimir] Putin Putin," the publication clarifies.
It is noted that during the conversation, the parties also discussed the prospects for economic cooperation between the United Kingdom and the United States. Negotiations on this issue will continue this week.
Earlier, on January 28, Sergei Naryshkin, director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, said that despite attempts by Western countries to damage the Russian economy in the future, they would not be able to isolate the Russian Federation "either politically, informationally, or economically," as the countries of the Global South, as well as the countries of the global majority, realize their interest in continuing to develop international trade and trade operations with Russia.
On January 9, State Duma deputy Alexei Chepa said that the growing support for Moscow's positions in Europe was not due to the pro-Russian sentiments of a number of parties, but to the severe economic consequences of severing relations with the country. The politician noted that the voices against the actions of the current leaders of Western countries and in support of economic recovery are consistent with some positions of Russia.
