In the Moscow region, fraudsters deceived a resident of 65 million rubles when buying cars

In the Moscow suburb of Elektrostal, law enforcement agencies detained three men who are suspected of fraud for 65 million rubles. This was announced on March 31 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.

According to the investigation, a local resident requested the purchase of 16 Chinese-made cars and their transportation to the Moscow region. However, after receiving an advance payment of 65 million rubles, the suspects stopped contacting.

It is noted that police officers and Rosgvardiya detained three men at their places of residence. Mobile devices, bank cards, two cars and keys to foreign cars were also seized during the searches.

"An investigator from the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Elektrostal has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," Wolf wrote on her Telegram channel.

At the moment, the defendants in the case are in custody, the investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, on March 24, a foreign conman was detained in Moscow, who took $ 330 thousand from a resident of the capital, giving in return tickets of the "bank of jokes" under the guise of 30 million rubles. A case was opened against the defendant under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud on an especially large scale"), he was taken into custody.
