Toll bridge under Kurgan will become free after repair

In the Kurgan region, the only toll bridge in the region will be made free again. It was destroyed during a flood in the spring of 2024, and restoration work is underway there.

As explained by the news agency " <url>" with reference to the Kurgan Regional Duma, we are talking about a ferry in the Tributary district, between the villages of Nagorskoye and Utyatskoye. After the repair, the bridge will become the property of the district authorities.

The agricultural holding Kurgansemen is engaged in restoration. The cost of the work is estimated at about 300 million rubles. The work is scheduled to be completed at the end of April, and the grand opening of the ferry is scheduled for May 9.

Earlier it was reported that Vladimir Putin gave instructions on flood relief in the country's regions, including providing for federal support. The President instructed to provide financial assistance, including to the Kurgan, Orenburg and Tyumen regions to eliminate the consequences of the emergency.
