Vadim Samoilov, the leader of the Agatha Christie rock band, celebrates his 60th birthday with a large-scale tour of the country. The artist performed on March 29 and 30 in St. Petersburg.

At the concerts, in a new interpretation, one could hear the legendary hits of the band and songs from Samoilov's solo albums.

"The inner feelings are exactly the same as in my youth, but they probably have added confidence, because you can design some things, your shows, projects, albums much better, so I like my age," said Samoilov.

A series of concerts are held under the banner "60". The previous performance was in Yekaterinburg, now it's in St. Petersburg, and there are shouts of delight again. Footage of Alexei Balabanov's films, the music for which was written by Agatha Christie, flashes on the screen. It's like a trip to Sverdlovsk in the late 1980s: the Samoylovs and company made a splash back then.

"An excursion through our entire 40—year friendship, when the songs in which I participate today were born before my eyes, cannot be expressed in words," said musician Alik Potapkin.

The chant "For Happiness" recorded in the 1990s has now been overgrown with new sounds in the latest single by Samoilov and Nastya Polevoy.

"She changed her coloring. She is like a compressed spring that has loosened," Poleva said.

"This is just from the new album, and there will be more new items, there will be a big album in the fall," added Vadim Samoilov.

The founder of Agatha Christie, in turn, noted that fans of the band will soon hear a lot of new songs, and in the fall there will be a big album. Samoilov also stressed that he was going to go to Donbass again with concerts, where he had been constantly traveling for the past ten years.

On March 26, Samoilov announced concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg on the occasion of his 60th birthday. In the capital, concerts will take place on April 4 and 5 at the Gorbunov Palace of Culture, and in St. Petersburg, the artist will perform on March 29 and 30 at the A2 club.
