Muscovites were told about new ecotourism trends

Government projects in the field of tourism and environmental education are being developed in Moscow. This was announced on March 31 in a message on the official portal of Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
There are many zones on the territory of the capital that allow residents to relax in nature and at the same time not leave the city. The new law on the Moscow Green Fund pays considerable attention to the preservation and development of such places. Against the background of active landscaping of new places, Muscovites are increasingly interested in obtaining new information, in particular, about the environment.
It is noted that at the moment, the programs of the environmental education centers of the Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection located on "green" territories are popular. They are aimed at environmental education of residents, as well as on such excursions of eco-centers you can spend time outdoors and gain new knowledge.
Among such zones, there are "There on unknown paths" in Kuzminki-Lyublino Park, where a walk with information about local plants, animals and the ecosystem of the forest near the Moscow Ring Road is held.
"Flora and Fauna of Bitsevsky Forest" involves a guided tour of the landscape of the green zone and the history of the park with interesting facts. In addition, the participants of the tour will be introduced to the stages of forest growth and its natural restoration.
On the Losiny Ostrov: Wildlife in the City tour, visitors will be able to see a bird feeding area, and explore aquatic vegetation and vegetation of wet places near the Budaika River.
These educational programs with accompanying excursions and educational information are provided in many green areas where eco-centers operate. They contribute to the formation of an ecological culture in Moscow.
Earlier, on March 29, Sergei Sobyanin said that last year Moscow's parks were visited over 177 million times, which was a record figure. He noted that more than 30,000 events are planned to be held in Moscow parks this summer. It is expected that over 50 million people will become their guests.
