In the city of Kamyshlov, Sverdlovsk region, a man died as a result of a gas-air mixture explosion at a gas station. This was announced on March 31 by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office in the Telegram channel.

According to preliminary data, the fatal incident occurred on Severnaya Street on March 30 at about 19:10 local time (17:10 Moscow time). The cause of the clap could be the accumulation of gases in an unused basement, the ministry said in a statement.

As a result of the incident, a man born in 1972 died. It is specified that he was an employee of a gas station.

Law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the incident. As part of the audit, compliance with the requirements of labor protection legislation will be assessed.

On March 27, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Chelyabinsk Region reported a gas explosion in one of the apartments of a multi-storey building in the village of Krasnogorsky. As a result of the incident, one person was killed, three were taken to the hospital. The Regional Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation into the incident. Later, a municipal-level emergency regime was introduced in the village.
