Over the past week, the Domol Donbas air defense and electronic warfare system has repelled an attack by 188 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on infrastructure and civilians in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on March 31 by the Department of the FSB of Russia for the region.

It is specified that in Donetsk, an aircraft-type false landing gear was intercepted, as well as a Skat jet drone aimed at destroying the railway infrastructure. In Makeyevka, the system successfully detected and neutralized a Darts drone armed with an improvised explosive device.

The department's explosives experts used special technical means to disable the controls of the drones, after which they eliminated their components at a specialized training ground, the department said in a statement.

The regional FSB also clarified that civilian casualties and infrastructure damage were avoided.

On March 26, the Dome of Donbass system prevented an attack by two UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a railway junction in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk. It was clarified that the system successfully intercepted both drones by disabling the controls. After landing, the explosives experts used a mobile robotics complex to neutralize the drone's warhead.
