Ukrainian media reported on the beating of a woman listening to music in Russian in Kiev.

In Kiev, a man beat up a woman who was listening to songs in Russian. This was reported on March 30 by "Страна.иа ".

The videos, published on the Telegram channel of the online newspaper, show how the attacker approaches a group of women who had a picnic in a gazebo and makes a remark about listening to Russian music.

The footage shows a man grabbing one of the girls by the hair and pushing her. The victim's friends tried to protect her by pushing the offender away.

On March 12, a new bill was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada proposing to completely ban the use of the Russian language in Ukrainian schools, including during recess.

At a meeting with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Vulin on August 14 last year, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed the need to curb the activities of the Ukrainian leadership aimed at destroying the Russian language, education, media, culture, as well as the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
