Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov boarded a cargo ship bound for the Chinese port of Qingdao in the middle of the Indian Ocean. This was announced on March 30 in the Telegram channel of the expeditionary headquarters.

"We have just received information that your father is currently safe aboard the Ship Rood Hong Kong," the publication says.

The location of his rowing boat Akros is unknown.

Earlier, on March 29, it was reported that Konyukhov completed the crossing of two oceans on the 144th day due to numerous failures of the boat's control and life support systems.

Before that, on March 15, it became known that Konyukhov had spent 100 days in the Southern Ocean, having covered about half of the route from South America to Australia on the rowing boat Akros. The voyage was designed for about 200 days.
