- The media pointed to the growing anti-American sentiment in Europe due to Trump's policies

Anti-American sentiments are spreading in European countries amid discontent with the policies of US President Donald Trump. This was reported by Bloomberg on March 30.
"The growth of anti—American sentiment in Europe caused by the policies of President Donald Trump is leading to a change in consumer behavior, not least in relation to American goods," the article says.
According to the agency, the irritation of European consumers was caused by Trump's threats to impose punitive duties and stop military support for the region. This led to campaigns to boycott American products.
It is noted that public opinion deteriorated the most in Denmark, where leaders and residents were outraged by Trump's plans to take control of Greenland. Special groups have even appeared on social media calling for a boycott of goods from the United States. They have already gained thousands of subscribers.
In addition, surveys have shown that about 70% of Swedes consider refraining from buying American goods as a form of political protest, and one in ten have completely boycotted American goods over the past month.
The Tesla company of American billionaire Elon Musk was also criticized. Earlier, hundreds of demonstrators "from London to Berlin" joined a global protest against this electric car manufacturer.
On March 26, Trump announced the introduction of 25 percent duties in the United States on all cars and trucks manufactured outside the country. He specified that these measures will come into force on April 2 and will be added to the existing ones. According to the White House estimates, approximately $100 billion in annual duties will be collected.
