Since March 12, 676 people have been evacuated from the liberated Sudzha in the Kursk region to safe areas. This was announced on March 30 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and other structures provide assistance to people. At the collection points, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and volunteers help to contact their loved ones via cellular communication, find them on social networks and through their groups, where people leave requests to search for relatives," the department's Telegram channel says.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that citizens are promptly transported to temporary accommodation facilities. There they receive the necessary assistance, including psychological.


The city of Sudzha was under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) for 218 days and was liberated on March 12. Currently, the city continues to suffer from attacks by Ukrainian UAVs.
