A court has sentenced a man who fired an air rifle from an apartment window in Bibirevo to four years and six months in prison. This was announced on March 30 by the Moscow Prosecutor's Office.

"The shooter from Biberevo, who opened fire from an apartment window at passers—by and an electric bus (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), received four years and six months in prison," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the agency, the defendant will serve his sentence in a correctional colony of the general regime.

The shooting from an air rifle at the Marcos Mall shopping center in the area of Kostromskaya Street in Moscow occurred in June last year. As a result of the incident, two people were injured and hospitalized. The bus, which was parked near the shopping center, was also damaged.
