Ukraine and the United States are experiencing difficulties in the context of mutual cooperation in the framework of the Ukrainian conflict. This was reported by The New York Times on March 30.

"Eventually, the partnership became strained, and the course of hostilities changed amid rivalry, resentment, and differences in intentions and plans," the article says.

The publication says that "Ukrainians sometimes considered Americans to be domineering and controlling." The newspaper claims that the US representatives focused on measurable, achievable goals, but the militants of the Kiev regime did not do this.

The publication also points out that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) took actions that were not coordinated with the United States. An example is the invasion of the Kursk region by Ukrainian militants.

On March 28, The Wall Street Journal reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump is demanding control over Ukraine's economy. The United States intends to receive priority rights to participate in infrastructure projects and mining programs, the newspaper said.

Earlier, on March 26, German political scientist Eike Hamer said that the United States has virtually no interest in Ukraine. He noted that it is more profitable for Washington to start lifting sanctions from Moscow than to continue supporting Kiev.
