Spartak HC employee Silkin died in an accident before the match with Severstal

Spartak employee Alexey Silkin died at the age of 30 in a car accident near Cherepovets. This was announced on March 30 by the Telegram channel of the Kontinental Hockey League club.

"Last night, on March 29, HC Spartak Moscow suffered a great loss. Alexey Silkin, an employee of our club and manager of the souvenir department, was killed in a car accident near Cherepovets," the club said in a statement.

The Spartak press service reported that Silkin was a sympathetic and kind person. He was called a devoted fan of the club, could not imagine his life without the team and wanted to support it at the away match with Severstal.

In addition, Spartak stated that it grieves and expresses its condolences to Silkin's family and friends.
