In Crimea, the Dnepr group of troops practiced repelling attacks by UAVs and boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Units of the Dnepr group of forces at a training ground on the coast of Crimea practiced repelling attacks by Ukrainian amphibious boats and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced on March 30 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

According to the ministry, in order to eliminate the effects of UAVs, the landing of sabotage groups and enemy troops, units of the Dnepr group of forces defending the Crimean Peninsula are constantly practicing all types of combat to defend the sea coast.

At the same time, tanks and artillery are operating along the distant sea borders, 120—millimeter mortars are deployed on the closer borders, and rifle units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are always ready to meet them in the event of an enemy landing on the coast.

In addition, as part of the combat coordination in Crimea, the military personnel of the Dnepr group are working out tasks to identify and destroy enemy sabotage groups.

"The task of the battalion is to prevent the enemy from landing on the coast of Crimea. The battalion performs the task in the absence of contact with the enemy, with the dense use of long-range weapons, missile weapons, reactive impact UAVs, shock impact UAVs, reconnaissance UAVs, as well as unmanned boats. The battalion is resisting these influences," said the commander of the rifle battalion with the call sign Symbol.

The officers who served on the submarines performed well on the battlefields.

On March 29, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that crews of 130-millimeter towed M-46 howitzers of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces destroyed a platoon strongpoint, military equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov direction during firing missions. During the performance of combat missions, artillery crews used high-explosive fragmentation ammunition.
