- Protests have been held in Germany against the deployment of American missiles in the country

In the German city of Wiesbaden, about 2.5 thousand people took part in protests against the deployment of US medium-range missiles in Germany. The Wiesbadener Kurier newspaper reported this on March 29.
"About 2.5 thousand people peacefully protested in the city against the planned deployment of American missiles and the build—up of military power," the newspaper writes.
It is specified that the demonstration was peaceful. In some cases, "there were significant disruptions in traffic in the city," the newspaper said.
On January 23, N-tv channel announced that German public figures, politicians and human rights activists had written an open letter calling for the United States to prevent the deployment of intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles (INF) in Germany. It was noted that the deployment of American weapons could provoke the outbreak of hostilities between Russia and Germany.
