In the Cherepovets district of the Vologda region, three people died after falling through the ice. This was reported on March 29 in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
According to the agency, four men went out on the ice of Lake Kolodenskoe and fell through the water.
"One person got out on his own, three died," the department said.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reminded that it is deadly dangerous to go out on the ice in the spring.
Earlier, on March 28, six children aged 10 to 12 years fell through the ice of the It River in the Yaroslavl region. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that everyone was able to get ashore, no one was injured.
