On the eve of the Formation Day of the Military Academy of Logistics named after Army General A.V. Khrulev, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Andrei Bulyga, congratulated the staff on the 125th anniversary of the educational institution on March 29.
Colonel-General Bulyga conveyed congratulations on behalf of Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov and members of the Board of the Russian Ministry of Defense, wished the officers, teaching staff and cadets of the Academy perseverance, professional success and worthy service to the country.
"Your hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence make the academy unique and respected in the military community. I wish you further success in training and educating new generations of officers. May there be many new achievements and achievements ahead," he said.
The Deputy head of the Russian Military Department presented the Military Academy with the pennant of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation for courage, military valor and high combat training, as well as state and departmental awards to particularly distinguished military personnel and teachers.
Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin conveyed congratulations from the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces, in which Vladimir Putin noted the achievements of graduates of the academy and the high level of training of logistics specialists, as well as a great contribution to the conduct of a special military operation.
Earlier, on March 22, the Call of the People movement proposed awarding Sergei Shcheglov, a 10-year-old resident of the Kursk region, who risked his life to wage a covert struggle against Ukrainian formations, recording their atrocities and passing valuable information to Russian troops, with the Medal For Courage. According to the chairman of the movement, Shcheglov's act can be considered a symbol of the invincibility of the Russian spirit, even in its youngest manifestation.
