Farewell to People's Artist of the Russian Federation Alexei Veselkin ended in Moscow

In Moscow, on Saturday, March 29, the farewell to Honored Artist of Russia and radio presenter Alexei Veselkin ended.

It is specified that the funeral ceremony took place on the stage of the Russian Academic Youth Theater (RAMT). Friends, relatives and colleagues came to see the artist off on his last journey.

Veselkin will be buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery.

Alexey Veselkin died at the age of 64 on March 26. The cause of death is not specified. The theater noted that he was distinguished not only by his bright natural talent, but also by his incredible ability to work, as well as a special approach to each role.

The Honored Artist of the Russian Federation was accepted into the RAMTA troupe in 1983 after completing his studies at the Shchukin Theater School. During 42 years of work in the theater, he performed about 60 roles. Many viewers remembered him as the host of popular TV shows of the 1990s, such as "Children's Hour", "Under 16 and older", "Alarm Clock" and "50x50".
