Another body of a civilian killed by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has been found in the village of Pogrebki in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region, and the circumstances of the crime are being established. This was announced on March 29 by the official representative of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia Svetlana Petrenko.

"As part of the investigation of the criminal case of a terrorist act (paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code), investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia examined the scene and found the body of a civilian with signs of violent death on the territory of an apartment building in the village of Pogrebki, Sudzhansky district, Kursk region," Petrenko said, quoted in the Telegram channel. She noted that the investigators had studied the situation around the body and collected physical evidence, concluding that the civilian had died at the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants. Law enforcement officers are investigating the incident in order to identify the deceased. For this purpose, forensic examinations have been appointed and witnesses are being questioned.

The official representative of the Investigative Committee stressed that during the preliminary investigation, all the Ukrainian militants responsible for this crime will be identified and brought to justice.

This week, on March 26, the Investigative Committee of Russia established new facts of the killings of civilians in the Kursk region by the military of the armed formations of Ukraine (VFU). For example, in the village of Kazachya Loknya in the border Sudzha district, Ukrainian militants who illegally invaded the territory of the Russian Federation killed at least two civilians who were hiding in residential buildings.

In addition, the soldiers of the VFU purposefully fired on the streets, deployed military equipment in the private sector, looted and set fire to houses, not only in Kazachye Lokna, but also in the village of Zaoleshenka and the village of Zamostye. A criminal case has been opened into these crimes under paragraphs "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 and paragraphs "a", "c" of Part 3 of Article 356.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act", "Looting").
