Military groups of troops "Zapad" eliminated up to 230 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a day.

During the day, Russian military personnel of the Western Group of Forces eliminated up to 230 militants, 23 unmanned aircraft control points and a field ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on March 29 by the head of the press center of the Zapad group of forces, Ivan Bigma.

"During the day, the enemy's losses amounted to 230 soldiers and three pickups. Three soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered. <...> 23 UAV control points, an electronic warfare station and an enemy field ammunition depot were also destroyed," he told TASS.

In addition, according to Bigma, six Ukrainian mortar crews and an American-made M101 105 mm cannon were destroyed during the counter-battery struggle. The air defense forces also destroyed 24 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones.

The head of the press center of the Zapad group of forces added that the Russian military defeated the formations of two mechanized and airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the territorial defense brigade in the areas of Shapkovka, Torsky, Kondrashovka, Grigorovka and Yampol.

On March 29, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that crews of 130-millimeter towed M-46 howitzers of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces destroyed a platoon strongpoint, military equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov direction during firing missions.
