The IMF Board of Directors approved the allocation of a tranche of $400 million to Ukraine.

The Board of Executive Directors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved the allocation of the next tranche to Ukraine in the amount of $400 million through the Extended Lending Facility (EFF) approved on March 31, 2023. The corresponding statement was published on the official website of the foundation on March 28.

"The IMF Board of Directors today completed the seventh EFF review for Ukraine, which allowed the authorities to raise $0.4 billion, which will be used by the authorities to support the budget," the press release says.

On December 20, 2024, the IMF Board of Executive Directors approved the allocation of a $1.1 billion tranche to Kiev after the sixth EFF review for Ukraine. It was clarified that Kiev sent the money received for budget support.
