Sergunina noted the contribution of the capital's specialists to the preservation of cultural heritage

There are more than a thousand cultural venues operated by the city in the capital. Employees of institutions, including those whose professional activities are often hidden from view, take care of preserving the cultural and historical heritage of the country. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"Today, more than a thousand creative venues subordinate to the city have been opened in the capital. These are small regional libraries, as well as large landmark facilities such as the Cosmonautics Museum and the Moscow Planetarium. They employ tens of thousands of professionals. Each of them makes a valuable contribution to the promotion of national culture and the preservation of our cultural and historical heritage," said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

Modern digital solutions in the museum industry are actively used in the capital. So, they created their own IT department in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve. Thanks to him, interactive exhibits can be seen in permanent exhibitions, and the history of the architectural complex can be observed on a circular diorama.

Multimedia projects are also used in other cultural fields. For example, in the concert hall of the Dom Scriabin media center, performances by artists are complemented by visual content, light and sound effects. The process is managed from the control room by the head of the artistic production department, Vitaly Tsymbalist.

The cultural traditions of the country are carefully preserved. The Moskino Foundation holds more than five thousand different films and about nine thousand copies of them. Professional film makers monitor the condition of the tapes, label them, control the temperature and humidity in the premises, and also take part in conducting guided tours for visitors.
