Trump announced progress in negotiations on a settlement in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has said that progress is being made in negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

"There is progress in achieving a settlement in Ukraine," he said at the White House on March 28.

At the same time, Trump noted that "there is ill will between the parties."

For the parties' reasons: the Russian Federation and the United States have made progress in the "Black Sea Initiative"

It became known what Moscow and Washington agreed on during 12-hour consultations in Riyadh.

On March 26, Trump announced great success in negotiations with Russia and Ukraine. At the same time, he did not disclose any other details related to the topic of negotiations.

Negotiations between the Russian and American expert groups in Riyadh took place on March 24. They lasted 12 hours. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in turn, noted that Russia and the United States would continue contacts after the talks in Riyadh.
