- The Pobeda bloc expressed its categorical protest against the arrest of Hutsul for 20 days.

The Pobeda opposition bloc has strongly protested against the court's decision to keep the head of the Gagauz Autonomy, Yevgenia Hutsul, under arrest for 20 days. The corresponding statement was published on the Telegram channel of the political force on March 28.
Representatives of Pobeda consider this decision unacceptable in a state governed by the rule of law — it is a planned step to increase pressure on those who disagree.
"From the very beginning, the case against the Bashkan of Gagauzia has the character of an open crackdown on the opposition," the report says.
The political bloc added that thousands of people across the country took to the streets in support of the Hutsuls, which is a real referendum on confidence. It is noted that people are tired of arbitrariness and are no longer afraid to call a spade a spade.
"This struggle is not only for the freedom of Yevgenia Hutsul, but also for the right of every citizen to justice, dignity and a voice," Victory said.
They added that representatives of foreign countries also expressed support for the head of Gagauzia.
On that day, the court in Chisinau decided to arrest Hutsul for a period of 20 days. The defense, in turn, announced its readiness to appeal this decision.
The prosecutors requested 30 days of arrest for the detained head of Gagauzia. The court session in Chisinau, as the Hutsuls were suppressed, was held behind closed doors.
The detention of Hutsul at the Chisinau airport without explanation became known on March 25. The Pobeda block reported that the head of Gagauzia was supposed to fly to Istanbul, where she was scheduled to meet. According to the Moldovan Prosecutor General's Office, the politician was detained after her name was found on the list of persons prohibited from leaving the country.
