The investigation found that during the training the boy became ill, he was called an ambulance, which took him to the hospital. Previously, the cause of death was heart failure.
"The Investigative Department for the city of Ishimbai of the SU IC of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Bashkortostan is conducting an investigation into the death of a 13-year—old teenager," the SU IC Telegram channel says.
A forensic medical examination is currently scheduled. After the verification is completed, an appropriate procedural decision will be made.
In Krasnoyarsk, on January 16, an 11-year-old boy died during a sports tourism training session at a gymnasium, falling from a height. The student climbed the rope to 6 m, mistakenly unfastened the safety rope and fell off the rope. A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence resulting in the death of a person").
