In Kirov, a local resident abducted a young man he knew, chained him to a battery and opened fire on him. This was announced on March 28 by the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kirov region.
"The investigation of the criminal case has been completed on charges of a 39-year—old local resident of committing crimes under Part 1 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code ("Abduction") and Part 2 of Article 116.1 of the Criminal Code ("Commission of other violent acts by a person with a criminal record for crimes committed with violence")," it says. in the statement of the department.
It is specified that from January 6 to January 7, the defendant, being intoxicated, decided to kidnap a 20-year-old boy so that his stepson could find out his relationship with him because of the girl. Then the 39-year-old man took the young man home and handcuffed him to a radiator. After that, he shot the victim several times with a pneumatic gas cylinder pistol.
It is noted that at the moment the criminal case has been sent to court. In turn, the defendant fully admitted his guilt.
Earlier, on March 8, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk, announced the detention in St. Petersburg of two men who abducted a teenager for the purpose of extortion. A criminal case was opened into the incident in accordance with Article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Kidnapping").
