Karasin called the talks with the United States in Riyadh constructive and calm.

The talks between the Russian and US delegations in Riyadh were constructive and calm. This was announced on March 28 by Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.
"[The meeting] was quite constructive, calm, and not very productive," he said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
The senator said that at the beginning of the discussion, "not everything worked out." According to him, some of the proposals from the United States turned out to be unacceptable to Russia.
In addition, Karasin stressed that cooperation with the current expert team of the United States is "in principle possible." He also noted that such meetings between the countries will continue.
The Russian-American expert group talks in Riyadh were held on March 24. The parties agreed to ensure safe navigation, exclude the use of force and prevent the use of commercial vessels for military purposes in the Black Sea. At the same time, for the relevant measures to take effect, the West will need to lift some of the anti-Russian sanctions that hinder international trade in food and fertilizers.
