Russians in Bangkok told about the evacuation of people from buildings

Russians who found themselves in Bangkok during the March 28 earthquake told Izvestia how they evacuated buildings during the disaster.
Thus, Russian citizens Tatiana Kirillova and her friend were on the 54th floor of the building when the tremors began. At first, they hid in a narrow passage, and after slowing down, they rushed to the exit.
"There was just an animal fear that you had to run with all your might, not paying attention to all the cracks, to the fact that something was falling right there. <...> People from high—rise buildings <...> just ran out, and everyone is terrified on the street," the woman said.
Veronika Pimenova found herself in a similar situation — disaster caught her on the 50th floor. First she heard a strange sound, then plaster fell down. A crack appeared in the building right in front of the girl's eyes.
"I approach the staff, and the first wave of animal fear and panic rolled up here, because I understand that the staff <...> themselves are in a panic. We didn't receive any instructions from the staff, the staff ran to the stairs, and I ran after them," she shared.
According to Pimenova, people left the building in a cohesive manner, the men took on the backs of the elderly. Now the guests were allowed to pick up their belongings, but they were not recommended to stay overnight.
Another Russian, Maxim Pshenichnikov, was working at home at a computer when the earthquake started. He ran out into the street, where many people had already gathered.
"People were in shock. Pieces of the house were lying on the sidewalk, cracks were visible," Pshenichnikov shared.
Earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 6.4 were recorded in Myanmar earlier in the day, and subsequently fluctuations reached Bangkok and its environs.
