Putin extended the permission to pay for gas from Russia not only at Gazprombank until July 1

Russian President Vladimir Putin extended until July 1 the permission for foreigners to pay for Russian gas not only through Gazprombank. The relevant decree of the head of state was published on March 28 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"Until July 1, 2025, the obligation to pay for natural gas by a foreign buyer is considered duly fulfilled if funds are credited in rubles to a ruble account opened by a Russian supplier in a Russian credit institution," the document says.

The permit was supposed to expire on April 1.
