Pushkin Museum tells about the French King's mistress


Olga Galaktionova, director of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, announced the museum's plans for the coming year in an interview with Izvestia. Among the largest projects is an exhibition dedicated to Madame de Pompadour, mistress of King Louis XV of France, and the art of this period. In addition, the public will find a number of other exhibitions covering the period from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.
"There will be major exhibitions of Chagall and Rodchenko. An important project is the Feat of the Museum, which will open on May 9th. We will also show "The Age of Landscape. A man in the city and in the bosom of nature. The Western European landscape of the 19th century", "The Gothic World"," Galaktionova shared with Izvestia.
She stressed that the museum will review and expand the previous exhibition plan.
