Two people died in an accident with a heavy truck in the Kuban

A fatal road accident occurred in the Kushchevsky district of the Krasnodar Territory. Two young people were killed.

According to KrasnodarMedia news agency, with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region, the accident happened on Thursday, March 27, at about 22 hours. The driver of the Hyundai Elantra, unable to maintain a safe distance, collided with a MAN truck with a semi-trailer. The impact was so strong that the car was completely crushed.

The 25-year-old driver of a foreign car and his 21-year-old passenger died at the scene of the accident before the ambulance arrived.

The circumstances of the incident are now being established.

Earlier, on March 26, it was reported that the court had arrested for two months a bus driver who had caused an accident in the Simferopol region of Crimea, which killed six people. According to the investigation, the accused, driving a KAv3 bus, was driving along a highway near the village of Ukromny, Simferopol district, and collided with a Kamaz heavy truck with a trailer.
