Street lighting systems are being upgraded in the EAO

New lanterns are being installed in the districts of the Eastern Administrative District, as well as in the capital of the autonomous region, Birobidzhan. The initiative to create a modern street lighting system belongs to Acting Governor Maria Kostyuk, it is based on suggestions from residents of the region.

According to IA EAOmedia, in Birobidzhan, work on updating lighting, replacing existing points and installing new poles is carried out within the framework of a concession agreement.

Later, all network facilities will be transferred to municipal ownership. We are talking about 4 thousand supports, more than 6 thousand lamps, almost 140 devices of festive illumination. A fully automated situation center will also appear in Birobidzhan. If any lamp goes out, information about it will appear on the dispatcher's console. A mobile team will handle troubleshooting.

In the regional center, the total cost of the street lighting modernization project exceeds 1.2 billion rubles. The concession agreement is included in the master plan of Birobidzhan.

Lighting is being upgraded in the Smidovichi district, Nikolaevsky, Volochaevsky, Priamursky urban settlements. Lighting will also be updated in the settlements of the Obluchensky municipal district. 25 LED lights will be purchased in the Teploozerskoye urban settlement. In the Oktyabrsky district, street lighting is also planned to be improved and repaired.
