The third cyclone in a week will cover Kamchatka

Kamchatka was affected by the Pacific cyclone. A new Okhotsk Sea cyclone is approaching its shores. On Saturday morning, March 29, Kamchatka will be hit by a new atmospheric vortex. It will bring snow, rain and wind with it.

According to Anna Prikhodko, head of the weather forecast department at the Kamchatka Hydrometeorological Center, quoted by the news agency KamchatkaMedia, precipitation will be all over the region, but it will be especially heavy in the south of the region. The wind speed in gusts will reach 30 m/s. The weather will start to improve only on Monday, March 31.

On the eve of March 27, an avalanche danger warning was announced in Kamchatka due to possible snowfall from the slopes. This was reported on March 27 on the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region. The corresponding regime will be in effect from March 28 to March 31 inclusive. The Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that spontaneous snowfall is possible in the region, and recommended to refrain from visiting the slopes.
