Izvestia newspaper became the leader in media citations in February

Izvestia newspaper once again topped the top 10 most cited federal publications in the last month of winter. This is evidenced by the data of the Medialogia company.

The Izvestia citation index in February was 2,081.79. The second and third lines of the rating were taken by the newspapers Kommersant (CI: 1,881.37) and Vedomosti (CI: 863.87).

“The leader of the rating in February among newspapers is Izvestia. The newspaper reported that the locust invasion threatens a new crop in Russia. Izvestia also reported that fake products were found in 14 Russian dairy producers,” the report says.

When calculating the rating, Russian federal media were taken into account, as well as online resources that cover federal and regional events.
