On March 27, the annual solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the main prize of the Union of Journalists of Russia "Golden Pen" took place.
The elite of the profession, reflecting modernity and shaping the information field, gathered here. The ceremony began with a minute of silence in memory of those who died in the SVR zone.
In total, 73 of the best, talented journalists were awarded on stage. First of all, the chairman of the SZHR presented seven central awards "Golden Feather". Olga Kuzmina, a columnist for Evening Moscow, is among the laureates. She began her creative career right after school, at the editorial office of the newspaper Pravda. There she worked her way up from courier to special correspondent. Later she worked in the newspaper "Trud", and then in "Evening Moscow". In addition, Olga Igorevna teaches at the Department of International Journalism at MGIMO.
"It is a great honor for me to receive the Golden Feather award. And I gratefully dedicate the award to my teachers, colleagues, past and present. Their support is invaluable. I would like to express my special gratitude to Vladimir Solovyov, Chairman of the SZHR, Alexander Kupriyanov, editor-in-chief, and Georgy Rudnitsky, CEO of VM, who supported my candidacy," Olga Kuzmina said.
Mikhail Bryzgalov, author and presenter of Orpheus Radio, Timur Medzhidov, head of the ITAR-TASS Special Projects Department, David Narmania, columnist for the International News Agency Rossiya Segodnya, and Alexey Ovchinnikov, correspondent for Komsomolskaya Pravda Publishing House, were awarded for their professional skills.
Arslan Khasavov, founder of the School Press Center for the Development of School Journalism, and Anna Shashlova, First Deputy General Director of Komsomolskaya Pravda Publishing House, also became the best media managers of the year.
Denis Korsakov, special correspondent of Komsomolskaya Pravda Publishing House, Leonid Mlechin, President of the International Academy of Television and Radio, Stanislav Razumov, editor of Channel One, teacher of Moscow State University, Dmitry Shevchenko, Professor, Head of the Department of Communication Management and Relationship Management at the Russian State Social University, became laureates of the Golden Shelf of Russian Journalism award.
The prizes in the nomination "For Bravery in the line of Duty" were awarded to journalists of VGTRK Grigory Vdovin and MIA Rossiya Segodnya Igor Gomolsky, Channel One Valentina Solovyova, publishing house Komsomolskaya Pravda Grigory Kubatian. As well as a team of authors from Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhia news agencies, the Lugansk Information Center, together with a member of the HRC, journalist A.A. Malkevich, nominates a joint project "They Died for the Truth", dedicated to the memory of media workers who died for the Russian World — Lana Samarina, Daria Bolshenko, Irina Vyunova, Nikolai Lebedev.
