Auto expert listed the best crossovers for 1.5 million rubles
Among the crossovers on the secondary market in the segment of up to 1.5 million rubles, the Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and Kia Sportage, as well as Geely Coolray, are the best choices. The car expert Alexander Kovalev told about it on March 28.
The expert called Renault Duster 2018-2021 model years strong and unpretentious. The car has all-wheel drive and proven powertrains, it is suitable for bad roads, the body is resistant to corrosion, and spare parts are available throughout the country. However, the interior of the crossover is simple, the ergonomics are not the most comfortable, and the comfort level is below average, he noted in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
He singled out Hyundai Creta and Kia Sportage (2016-2019) for reliability and liquidity. For 1.5 million rubles in the secondary market, you can find an option with front-wheel drive and an automatic transmission. The weak point of these models is the two-liter engine, which is prone to bullying by 100,000 km, but this problem has been well studied and solved, Kovalev pointed out.
The latest and most technologically advanced crossover in the selection is the Geely Coolray (2022). It is characterized by dynamics, equipment and modern design. The model is driven sharper than competitors, but the suspension is too stiff, the noise insulation is weak, and the cost of body elements is higher than that of other models from the rating, the expert added.
On February 24, Alexander Kovalev said that in Russia, in the secondary market in the segment of up to 500 thousand rubles, a number of Ford and Chevrolet models that are highly reliable can be found on sale, and listed such cars.
