A building in the Thai capital Bangkok collapsed as a result of an earthquake. This was reported on March 28 by the Khaosod newspaper.

According to the newspaper, there were about 50 workers in the building, seven of them escaped, and 43 people were trapped under the rubble.

The Russian Embassy is clarifying the situation regarding possible injured citizens as a result of the earthquake, TASS reports.

Earlier in the day, earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 6.4 were recorded in Myanmar. The Meteorological Department of Thailand has warned of the risk of aftershocks after the earthquakes in Myanmar.
