Sobyanin spoke about the new level of ophthalmological care in Moscow

Ophthalmological care in the capital has reached a new level, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
"New technologies, accurate diagnosis and patient convenience are now the Moscow standard of ophthalmology," he wrote on Telegram.
According to him, each clinic has an ophthalmology room with modern equipment. You can make an appointment with a specialist directly — there is no need to go to a therapist first. Over the past year, Muscovites have visited ophthalmologists in polyclinics more than 3.7 million times.
All offices, Sobyanin continued, are equipped with expert-class equipment. "We perform 68,000 operations per year, and we treat cataracts in just 15 minutes," Sobyanin said.
Planned and emergency care in the field of Ophthalmology is concentrated in seven multidisciplinary hospitals: Inozemtseva, No. 15 named after Filatov, No. 1 named after Pirogov, named after Buyanov, No. 67 named after Vorokhobov and No. 52. And in the MMNCC named after Botkin created the largest ophthalmological center in Russia.
