Venezuelan President Maduro criticized US Secretary of State Rubio

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has criticized US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in response to threats over the territorial conflict with Guyana. He stated this on March 27 on the air of the VTV channel.
"Marco Rubio came out of Guyana threatening Venezuela, but no one threatens our people. This is the homeland of the liberators of Bolivar," Maduro said.
The head of Venezuela also noted that he does not plan to pay attention to the threats of the United States Secretary of State.
On February 4, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil Pinto criticized the US Secretary of State for his statements about Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua. He also called Rubio's statement "the rage of a frustrated bureaucrat who cannot see how sovereign states rise up against him and break his script."
On February 3, Reuters reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump had taken measures to lift protection from deportation for 348,000 Venezuelans. More than half of all Venezuelans covered by the program may be deported and lose their work permits in April.
