The State Duma told who is entitled to free vouchers to the sanatorium


Some categories of citizens, including combat veterans, the disabled, children with disabilities, and participants in the Great Patriotic War, can receive a free trip to the sanatorium from the state. Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Social Policy, told about this on March 27.
The deputy clarified that such citizens can choose a form of receiving a set of social services once a year until October 1, either in the form of a monthly cash payment or in kind, which includes sanatorium treatment and payment for travel to and from the place of treatment.
"The following categories of citizens have the right to receive state social assistance in the form of a set of social services: war invalids, participants of the Great Patriotic War, combat veterans, disabled people, disabled children," Bessarab told RIA Novosti.
In addition, according to the deputy, persons who were exposed to radiation as a result of the Chernobyl disaster, as well as due to nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk test site and equivalent categories of citizens can also receive a permit. Family members of deceased war invalids, participants of the Great Patriotic War, as well as combat veterans can also get a ticket.
On March 25, Sergei Mironov, a State Duma deputy and leader of the Fair Russia –For Truth party, proposed introducing a single social card for pensioners that would operate throughout the country, rather than in individual regions.
